SYMPTOMS may include loss of weight, vague muscle and joint pain, weakness,
lassitude, swollen gums, irritability, loose teeth, new wounds fail to heal,
old scars break down and spontaneous bleeding.
CAUSES may be a lack of vitamin C in infants and in adults the causes may
include a poor diet, thyroid or gastrointestinal disease or pregnancy/nursing
